Piazza Barberini is located between Quirinale, Horti Sallustiani and the end of Via Veneto. It owes its name to the prestigious Palazzo Barberini. It is known for its two fountains, the Fountain of the Triton, characterized by four dolphins holding the God of the Sea, and the Fountain of Bees (these animals were used to represent the Barberini family in that time), and it was built under the pontificate of Urban VIII under the request of Cardinal Francesco Barberini.
