Fines
In Eindhoven's Environmental Zone, implemented to improve air quality, violations of access standards can result in fines. Since January 1, 2022, stricter rules apply, with fines of €240 for trucks and €100 for buses (2021 price level). Controls are active throughout the Environmental Zone since April 1, 2022, excluding the industrial area De Kade.

Types of Exemptions

- Ontheffing van de hardheidsclausule (€182.00): For companies facing financial difficulties and unable to invest in a cleaner vehicle. Comprehensive documentation, including financial statements for the last three years, is required during the application.
