How to Get to the WiZink Center to See Blink 182 and The National
The WiZink Center, also known as the Palacio de los Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid, hosts concerts and sports events of all kinds. Since the palace became part of the property of the Community of Madrid in 1985, the building has become a reference point both locally and nationally. Many great artists have performed there, and this time, it's time to welcome Blink 182 and The National. If you're thinking of **taking public transport to get to the WiZink**, here are some options:
- Metro: The nearest metro stops to the WiZink Center are Goya (L4 and L2) and O'Donnell (L6).
- Bus: Bus lines 143, 56, 2, 71, 28, 21, 53, 15, 63, 43, 30, 29, and C stop near the WiZink Center.
If you prefer to ride a bicycle, you can use the BiciMad service, which has numerous stations throughout the city. There is a station very close to the WiZink Center, in Plaza de Felipe II. If it's full, and you can't park your bike there, there's another one on Calle Narváez or on Jorge Juan.
To **get to the WiZink Center by car**, simply enter the address Jorge Juan number 99 or Calle Goya number 90 into your GPS. It's a well-connected area, but keep in mind that parking at the sports palace itself is nearly impossible. To park there, you'll need to follow our advice.

Where to Park at the WiZink Center to See Blink 182 and The National
The Blink 182 and The National concerts start at 9:30 PM and 9:00 PM, respectively, so you should leave with plenty of time to find parking and get to the venue. If you have a reserved seat, you can relax. If, on the other hand, you have a standing ticket, it's better to arrive early to grab a good spot and not miss anything.
Parking on the Street Near the WiZink Center
The WiZink Center is in Goya, a very challenging area for street parking because it's surrounded by shops and squares that make parking difficult. To park, you'll need to move away from the venue and find a quieter street. Keep in mind that **free parking is nearly impossible**, so you should be prepared to pay. We advise you to avoid Goya Street, at least around the venue, and explore less crowded streets like Hermosilla, for example. If you're on a motorcycle, it will be easier to park, both on Hermosilla and on Fernan González Street, where there are some motorcycle parking spots that are free (be quick, there are very few!).
On Jorge Juan Street, there are several parking spaces, but it tends to be full due to the number of people working in the area (for example, at the Casa de la Moneda). Keep in mind that most of these streets have green zones, so if you're not a resident of the area, it will be more expensive, and you'll have a time limit for parking. Pay close attention to all signage to avoid fines.
Parking in a Garage Near the WiZink Center
The venue itself has a parking garage that you can use, but you may encounter some issues. On days of such important events like this, it tends to fill up quickly. The best option is to book your parking near the WiZink Center in advance and not waste time. This way, you can arrive, park, and head to the concert.
At Parkimeter, we specialize in searching and booking parking, providing a convenient platform to find parking near the best destinations and events.
